Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the United States. She is a actor, comedian and vocalist. Her most notable role was as a member of the NBC sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live, from 1996 until 2002. Since then, she has appeared in the sitcoms ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer was a student of Northwestern University when she began her career as an actor. She first studied as an audio-major and then switched to theater studies following her participation in the college's improv group.
