Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg congregation knew they could not go back. Ashley was just 17 years old and hadn't been with a man before, so Andrew and Ashley took things very slow. The couple fell in love instantly. Andrew prayed at New Year's Eve just ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, praying that God would give him one last blessing in the year. That Ashley would get married to him. Ashley wanted to have a rustic folk wedding theme that represented both her and Andrew. In order to create the perfect wedding, they chose to incorporate elements of everything they love. Ashley's family owned 40 acre of backyard. Ashley had a good understanding of the whole area, having explored it and even playing on the land. Andrew, Ashley and their friends had already walked in this area several times when they began dating. Personalization was key since they did a lot of the work themselves. Andrew Ashley's father and Andrew designed the ceremony arch and the seating, while Ashley did a great deal of painting and making decorations. Ashley claims that, without Anna's incredible floral design the wedding would not have been as magical and romantic as I had hoped. Absolutely stunning.
